This is classic GTA at its finest with a great story and some really fun missions...

After recently playing Lost and Damned this episode is clearly the "winner" between the two. In fact, it's hard to believe how much more fun and interesting Ballad of Gay Tony is compared to the other. In fact, the main hero and lead characters are actually more interesting than the full GTAIV game.

What will quickly come to your attention after starting this episode is the array of crazy missions they put you in. This isn't just another car chase and shoot out story but, rather, you'll find yourself driving every sort of vehicle and doing every sort of crazy stunt to get from A to B. The parachute sections were quite enjoyable especially once you unlock all the mini-challenges with this particular area.

Ultimately, this episode feels like classic GTA and it somewhat restores some of what was missing in the full episode. Luis is also a quite likeable main character and his partners are definitely full of humor as well as are solidly developed.

My only real complaints are the stupid traffic mechanics where cars will just randomly swerve in front of you along with some hokey helicopter flying issues that can be a bit annoying at times. This game does have its share of glitches so you just need to be careful not to put yourself in situations that might cause you to snafu a particular mission. Honestly, the only times I really had any issues with the missions were when some random and stupid thing happened that wasn't totally in my control. Just be a little bit extra careful and you should be fine.

If you're itching from some GTA action to hold you over until GTAV then definitely jump in on this one. It's a blast!
