Although it GTA IV is a great game and one of the better ones in the series it doesn't deliver where it matters most.

A fan of the Grand Theft Auto series I expected great things from GTA IV and although Rockstar brought the flair they did not bring as much substance as the previous GTA (San Andreas).

One thing GTA IV did deliver on was a great well written story, a very realistic feel in gameplay, and impressive graphics. Where the game failed was in the frustrating missions, little to no customization options, and the fun factor just wasn't there.

Rockstar set the bar high with GTA: San Andreas and with GTA IV they was just unable to reach that bar. Yes if this game came out and their was not San Andreas to compare it to than we would be having a different review but they simply took out the features that was most enjoyable in the previous game and that swayed my opinion of the game.

GTA IV is still a game worth buy and worth playing and it is still something good to play for GTA fans but it just wasn't quite what I expected it to be.

+ Top notch graphics
+ Super realistic
+ Great Story
+ Cool side options (dating, getting drunk, watching TV)

- Little to no customization
- Uninspired missions
- Not a huge fun factor
- Not much replay value
