This DLC is so fun i can't describe. I prefer the original game, but it all depends in what you look for.

Well let me first say GTA4 is my favourtie game of all time. What captivated me was the realism and the relatable story telling of immigration, and the strong emotional connection with the protagonist Niko Bellic, in his pursuit in the land of opportunity.
But the DLC of this franchise approaches the same style, with different levels of realism. And this is where some GTA4 fans might not like the DLC.
Well firstly, Lost & Damned still holds on that realism but with perspective of the underground world of bikies. I actually loved this content. The story from this content would relate more to Niko Bellic than the Ballad of Gay tony. And so Lost & Damned is definetly not a disappointing game if you loved the original.
Now, The Ballad Of Gay Tony, will have some divisions. I actually love the game, but it was still kinda hard for me to adjust to the unrealism that rockstar finally delivers to the fans that love that crazy open world destruction, such as Prototype or Saints Row. But as much as it was hard for me to adjust, i could now experience great lengths such as sky diving, going into the clubs, and grabbing a tank and destroying every vehicle in my path. And all those 'what if's' that wasn't put on to the original GTA4, is placed in this DLC.
Conclusively, if your a true fan of GTA4, then Episodes Of Liberty City is for you. It gives you a different perspective on the game but it definetly deserves a buy. It may seem hard to adjust to the beautiful realism, that GTA4 so powerfully delivers especially in it's story telling. These episodes work on fun factor. And if thats what you want. Then get off your behind now, and get it!
