Ofcourse I must do this review too. I mean, I can't just skip to write about one of the best games ever made.

I've been a real GTA fan since the first GTA came. I played it many years on my PC, it was really funny and took me years before I became tired on that game. But I never, and I think almost nobody else either - did the missions the game had. The only funny thing with GTA was to steal cars, kill so many peoples it was possible to do, kill the cops and then try to escape from them.

Some years after, when I was on a LAN party, my friend had GTA 2 on his PC (Shortly after it was launched) and I saw the great graphic, and had to borrow it home with me. I played that for a while, it had much better graphic than the first one, and now for the first time, - it also had gangs.
It was for a short time fun to do the jobs for the gangs, - for the first time it was fun to do some of the missions in a GTA game! But it became boring really fast and then, the only funny thing left was just the old ordinary typical "GTA thing": Kill, escape, steal cars, blow up the cops etc.

A couple years after I was in EB Games with my friend, I saw GTA III in a shelf with "New Games". It was a real nice suprice for me, I hadn't heard anything at all about this game. I saw some of the screenshots of the game there, and became very, very excited. I said something like "Everything is in 3D! No more perspective from above!" I had to buy that game, and ofcourse I did it. Then I went home with my friend and started to play...

I will never forget that evening! My friend and I just became chocked when we started to play it. We couldn't believe our eyes... My friend asked me something ironic shortly after we started to play:
"Is this really a follow-up from GTA 2? Or maybe this is a dream?"

I never thought it could be so much better than GTA 1 or GTA 2...
I mean, now when everything was in 3D, with a big city, great graphic and everything was in the same game! Most of the other games could have one or two of those things really great: For example, If a game was big, the graphic maybe wasn't something to hurrah for. But if a game was smaller, the game makers could make the graphic better... But GTA 3, - it has everything on the same time!

For the very first time in a GTA game, the missions was fun. Ofcourse it was still fun to just kill so many peoples I could, kill so many cops I could, blow up all the cars in my way etc...
But now the missions, like I said, for the first time was one big fun part of the game. GTA 3 is a real gangster game where you work your way up to the throne to be gangster number one. The game has a lot of violence, sick funny humor, "swearwords" and blood. It also offers many different types of cars, weapons, missions, music and a lot of more. The only things it didn't offered was motorbikes and you can't swim in the water, you will drown if you come into the water. But that was just small details... Who cared about that? I mean, every other thing was simply the best!

Here is some short fact of a few things the game has:

* The Music *
Many different channels, much different types of music - For every each taste. It also has funny crazy peoples who talking time to time behind the music, - about things you even can't imigane if you havn't played a GTA game before... (If you have seen Scarface, you will get a "Scarface" feeling when you play it, because some of the music here is from the Scarface soundtrack)

* The New Engine / The Graphic *
When we think about the size of the game, the huge jump from 2D to 3D, all the great details, and also that you now could choose the perspective you wanted - and not only see the gameplay from above. When we now thinking about all this fact: Could somebody just imigane the fact that the graphic could be so great it turned to be? The answear is - nobody. This game was a great awsome chock for almost every each gamer - and the graphic was one big part of this "great awsome chock".

* The Area *
The city you play in is "Liberty City". It's three "islands" connected together with bridges. In the beginning you can "only" be in the first island, then how longer you will pass through the game, the other "islands will open for you". Every each islands is very big, and if we talk about the three islands together, it's incredible big!

* The Missions *
Work your way up like I told you before, do jobs you get from your bosses, and the jobs can be like: Helping peoples to rob a bank - when you handle the car. Kill different cind of peoples. Follow a car - without to be discovered. Place a carbomb to blow up someone, and illegal car racings on the streets. That was just a few examples, it has a lot of different missions, and every each of them is different from the others.

GTA III is a real classic, also one of the best games ever made. It's also one of the few games I have the greatest game memories of.
