Anyone else feel like it doesn't hold up?

After the initial hour or so of realizing they released the game and made it work great on the iPad, I was bored. The lack of things to do in the city, the simplicity and monotony of the missions just turn me off now. It feels to me like the sandbox genre is just on a whole different level right now, so much so that GTA 3 isn't even playable.
