I've heard and read about GTA. It got great reviews and acclaimed awards. However i just don't see the entertainment in this game. I do like the way you have an open city to run around in. However i quickly found there really isn't a lot to do in the great big open city. Maybe its because I don't enjoy running people over or shooting people for no point. I felt the car simulation in this game sucked. And i felt the character control sucked just as equally. Shooting the guns felt sloppy. I just couldn't believe how good of reviews this game got. I can understand it from teenage kids. But even websites like this one gave it great reviews. So i guess its just not my type of game. I felt like it was a watered down car sim and a watered down 3rd person shooter. Failing at both. However i will give it props that it has inspired game designers and brought something new to the genre.
