GTA has come to the DS with Grand Theft Auto Chinatown Wars.
This game also makes great use of the stylus with a couple of minigames. When stealing a car, you have three different minigames you can do: hotwiring, using a srewdriver (which is the easiest) and hacking the car with your PDA. Speaking of that, you also use the stylus to navigate your menu which consists of your GPS, Brief, E-mail, Contacts, Stats, Multiplayer, system (DS), Music Player (radio), Trade info (drugs), and your Ammu-Nation Web-site.
Another feature is to sell and buy drugs!!! This is the only way to make a lot of money in a short time so you'll find yourself trying to find more dealers for more opportunities to get a great deal!!!
The main protagonist Huang Lee, a spoiled rich kid asked to deliver a ceremonial sword to his Uncle "Wu" Kenny Lee after his father is killed. At the Airport, He is ambushed and shot in the head and left for dead by two gang members. I won't get more into detail so not to spoil it for others but the storyline is finally making sense, someting Vice City Stories, and Liberty City Stories couldn't do.
PS: The graphics are sub-par but it is impressive that Rockstar managed to squeeze Liberty City into a DS game! Bravo!!!
I would recommend this game to someone who is a fan of the game but wants a interesting storyline and a lot of new features!!!
