Looks great, sounds great and plays awesomely. One of my favourite racing games.

User Rating: 9 | Gran Turismo: The Real Driving Simulator PSP
GRAPHICS:
-PSP's Gran Turismo looks fantastic and runs smoothly. Once again, the shining cars steal the show. They look just perfect.

TRACKS:
-35 tracks are included, and they're all available right off the bat.
-The old original Gran Turismo favourites like Trial Mountain and Tahiti Mazes are here again. The city tracks like Seoul central and Seattle are even more entertaining in my opinion, and off course the classics like Laguna Seca and the ultra-long Nurbugring are just as enjoyable as ever.
-All the original GT tracks can be reversed, so you'll have plenty of road to drive.

9.3 / 10

CARS:
-From slow and "boring" family cars to expensive 500 horsepower supercars, everything you need and would expect from a GT game is here. 800 cars is a huge selection, and you can't just pick up the game and start driving a Ferrari Enzo, you have to get 1 000 000 credits and be lucky enough to find that car in the shop.
-You can't buy upgrades to your rides like you could in the previous GTs, but for experts, quick tuning options are still here.

9.7 / 10

GAMEPLAY:
-The controls are easy and car handling is as fantastic as ever. The up and down directional buttons are perfect for changing gears. The dirt track gameplay is also very different from the asphalt driving.

9.7 / 10

MODES:
-There's no GT mode anymore. The most important game mode is the single race, where you win money to buy new rides. The new drifting mode is a very quick way to get money, but it can be really hard on asphalt if you don't choose the right tyres and stuff.
-All fans of the previous GTs know the license tests. Love them or hate them (i personally hate them), they're a great way to earn money.

8.5 / 10

SOUNDTRACK:
-I have nothing against the game's own music, but one of the most awesome features in this game is the USER BGM. If you have music in your PSP, just go to sound options and choose the user bgm. You will hear randomly selected songs from your music folder. Seriously, how awesome is that? Well, off course the goodness of your soundtrack depends on what songs you have in your console.

The bottom line:
PSPs Gran Turismo is just a fantastic racing game. For newcomers, the track selection and fair difficulty levels are very welcoming and accessible, while GT vets can enjoy the same great gameplay and collect money for super-expensive, super-fast SUPERcars!
