PlayStation's most popular series is back, with 1,200 cars and 71 track layouts across 33 locations, including world-famous Silverstone. This is Gran Turismo 6.

It looks like all attention has gone to cars, ride height and pretty colors. So I guess the saga of mindless AI drones going around the track like on rails, will continue.
And personally, I think skid marks add to the race atmosphere. But I guess there is no such thing as burned rubber i Japan.
@Fladfisken I like the GT series but I agree with you about the bland boreing and basic AI. not seemed to have changed much sense the first gt game
but did they make getting the money to get the cars actual fun or is just frustrating not fun like every gt before it? If so i pass I might light GT but running the same race over and over just to get money for car I gona use once just to have to do it again for another race is not fun
I hope Ps4 still supports any steering wheel, not keeping it all to them selfs xbox style (i own the t500rs)
3 Like Do you have to have so many ads on your website Gamespot, not only are they plastered on every page but i get to enjoy a 30 second ad before EVERY video. I watched loads of videos on IGN with no ads
@tuff13t Revision3 does the same thing. That is why I no longer go to their site. I used to support this site as a paid subscriber but...quality and integrity waned and I stopped supporting them financially. I do visit often still and I do like the site.
BUT...the ads have become very intrusive for some reason. I might find another site for my gaming news. Who knows?

2 Like I hope that there will be cockpit view since I need to switch from Forza to GT series, not getting new xbox so GT do not dissapoint me you are my only chance for experiancing great racing game on next gen console, (drivers club looks decent too)

@Karmazyn GT5 had interior view on some cars, so it's likely GT6 will follow suit with more of the cars having it.
@Karmazyn Did you guys even read the article/watch the video? This game is going to be on the current gen not next gen.
@EddieDominguez @Karmazyn but GT developers did mention in one of the articles that they are considering doing something on PS4. Maybe they will release upgraded version of GT 6 which runs 160 FPS.lol.

Personally, I won't get the PS4 either if it has an always connected, Big Brother camera like the XBone.

Please GT6 do it right!!! Do not care if you have a billion cars and tracks...if it does not feel right...well....everything else is pretty much useless.

@OortCloud33 @daveg1 gt has been stale since gt2 the handeling of the cars is just boring these days when theres other better more up to date racers out there..remeber gt came along when there was nothing else like it,since then other games have taken gt and improved upon it..vastly..

gt hasnt been good since gt2 stale infact..ps3 development hasnt exactly helped either..but hopefully pd has finaly gotten hold of the machine now with the next game and very certainly the last on the system..i think they only released again on the ps3 was to get some profit back likely cos the cost of the ps3 engine was massive..

@fredyellowone @sensei_hEnRY GT is challenging. Its about getting the best times possible. Try and compete with the best in the world and see how good you are. There is no racing game more realistic than GT, it only needs better damage xD which on PS4 could be possible.

I actually agree with that. GT is the leading simulator in driving physics, and graphics.
But that's all.
And no, the game is not just about getting the best times possible. Well... actually, maybe you are right. Maybe they forgot that not only people who plan to become racers would buy the game.

I don't understad your statement. No, it's not challenging! I did all the A spec events in one month, playing casually, without any aid, finishing first in the vast majority of them. I do know it's a damm lot more challenging online. Of course it is. But what if I don't give a crap about playing online? What if I don 't plan to become a racer? What if I would like an offline racing career with lot of events, well balanced events, with a deep sense of economy?
@fredyellowone And do go acting like GT is not a challenge... Even without any aids, setting laps is always a challenge, dont say it isnt. you just trying to look like a big man.

And I do care about GT, because i loved that series.
But I'm also very rational. And GT series, despite the sales, is going downhill in term of fun, realism and innovation since GT4.

@Egg99 yeah was wondering what the hell was going on. Disabled all my add-ons and came to a conclusion that when adblock is enabled videos on GS wont play. Then googled to see if its an issue with maybe a new adblock update and i found this comment. FIX THIS GS !
@fredyellowone @Rohan233 sorry but my decision is solely based on me sticking with the franchise since the first GT on the ps1 with it being the only racing game besides Midnight Club and Need For Speed. Personally I still think Gran Turismo is still the best, then comes Need For Speed Underground 2, now until Underground 3 is made, I will be sticking to Gran Turismo.

I'm hating GT the exact same way I hated Diablo 3. Because my two beloved franchises been destroyed by arrogant people.
I am not a XBOX fan boy BUT I honestly feel that Forza is the better game compared to GT. I am sure Forza 5 will chew and spit out GT 6 when the time comes.
1 Like @starjay009 "I am not a XBOX fan boy" is usually a clear sign that you are indeed as such. As far as sales go, Forza will never challenge GT on a global level. As far as driving physics go, Forza still has a lot of catching up to do.
If you care more about the other stuff like custom paintjobs and decals, then yes, Forza can provide that for you in spades.
Hmmm nice, so I can't see any videos now if don't disable adblock. It's like releasing a next gen console with no support for second hand games and that needs internet connexion to work... Why the h*** does companies nowadays wants the people to hate them??
