Check out this concept movie for Gran Turismo 6, released at the Gran Turismo 15th Anniversary Event held at the Silverstone Ciruit of the UK.
hmm just bought a wheel thats compatible with ps3 for my PC. Might be a good time to get a ps3 again (unless this is slated for a ps4 release).
Just don't pull the same mistake with GT5. Surely we don't want another DLC-Themed Game just to make the game better.
Love gt but a "real driving sim" should be on pc as well. would love to play this maxed out on a nice rig.
@rahmie0789 too bad it's not even a "real driving sim". Go play iRacing (if you are crazy wealthy) or a sim bin game for the real deal.
That said, GT would be a welcome addition on the PC if only for the ridiculous selection of cars you get.
@rahmie0789 It's a Sony-owned franchise, not gonna happen although I'd love to see this on PC too.
Ah I can't wait for this game now! I'm still playing GT5 and its the king of console racing games since it first launched.
Used to be such a GT mark back in the day! I remember when the first came out, I was still in school and the buzz in playground was ridiculous ... Staying up almost all night trying to get all gold in the ridiculously tough licenses with my pals, the first time I got my hands on a Pikes Peak in the monster that was GT2, the smell of burning rubber from limited edition GT2 discs ahh the memories! Sadly I slowly lost interest around & after 4.
Nice to see the "grandaddy" is still around though :-)Sweet! another racing game with no damage modeling, cars bouncing off each other like they never touched, and no skidmarks on the track! how exciting!
@gut_eater Talk about dumb, you never even touched GT5 everything you claim it doesn't do it does. Troll much?!? GT always garners haters regardless of how "bad" they say it is, they are too busy talking about how bad GT supposedly is instead of playing their great and powerful *insert game here*. Like a bunch of parrots, repeating things and have no intention of being educated a little more...although I shouldn't insult parrots like that drawing parallels with your ilk.
@SavageEvil @gut_eater congratulations, you've outdone yourself in trying to impress us all in the rare use of the word "ilk". Is it that time for "word of the day"?.
@SavageEvil @gut_eater ANYWAYS...getting back to the excitement of invincible cars that don't leave skid-marks..
@gut_eater @SavageEvil This is how you reply, what a waste. Going back to more productive conversations with parrots!
@gut_eater Gran Turismo 5 ran at 60fps, which obviously limits what you can do with the physics and the details of the track. To top it off, there was 4x deferred anti aliasing for 720p or 2x quincunx for the 1280*1080p mode.
Used to be a GT fanboy but FMS has long since snatched the torch and never let go. Let's just ignore Horizon.
I hope they stop it with this standard car, premium car and just make all the cars with the same level of detail.
@Xiosis With the hundreds of cars in this game, that is nigh-on impossible, although it would be awesome if they did pull it off.
He's got a brand new car
Looks like a Jaguar
It's got leather seats
It's got a CD player,player, player, player
But I don't wanna talk about it anymore
I think we're gonna make it
I think we're gonna save it yeah
So don't you try and fake it
Anymore, anymore
Waking up at twelve in my clothes again
Feel my head explode from a night of gin
Another night out late
I don?t want to drink don?t want to be a clown
I got to get my feet back on the ground
Before it pulls me in
How come it ended up like this
And who?s gonna catch me when I?m coming down to hit the ground again
Hahaha, I can't believe they dared to make another GT after the hoax it was GT5. Just to say that it was no simulator, considering the cars did not take real damage, and not all had inside view. But it was just a GT4 with HD graphics.
Judging by this video, it's going to be the same crap, Same two generations ago driving physics, and same pathetic AI, and same crappy soundtrack. Besides, I would bet it will be delayed t least twice for release.
Take note, this is a general rule for video games: when it has been delayed more than once, it's going to be trash, a total let down. So watch out, don't believe unrealistc videos and all hype generated around GT6. Don't loose your money on games that only sell the glory of their past releases.
@Serpens_Solida Wait, how many times was bioshock infinite delayed? and that was a total let down, correct?
@Frexerik @Serpens_Solida I'd say Infinite was a letdown, but it wasn't trash. This guy's just trolling it seems.
@homegirl2180 @Frexerik @Serpens_Solida I just finished Bioshock Infinite an hour ago and I would not call it a let-down in any way!! I would also take GT6 over the next version of Forza any day, but I'm not going to buy either since I'm more into arcade racers now (NFS, Dirt, MotorStorm, etc.).
What are the alternatives? Forza has gone casual and I can't be arsed buying all the DLC just to keep up on Forza 4. Then there is the art style which is a bit cartoony for my taste.
GT6 might actually be a worthy competitor this time around.
@Leejjohno @Serpens_Solida I'd say there are other options, but for playing in PC. You know, those European cars categories, like the V8's, the F1 game and the upcomming GRID 2. To be honest, we racing games lovers are screwed.
