Zaiken. I get your point: SpedKnights may be a tad overexcited there, but lets face it. I've no reason to think the xbox beats the ps3, nor the other way around. Some of us, myself included.. are not blown away by the major box-titles Halo or GearsoW.. you know I'm having difficult summing up more. Same goes the other way around. Plenty of people that feel little for the ps3 exclusives. And so we all pick the console that we feel suits our needs, or just buy em both. Always funny when a person uses the word 'we'. It tends to invalidate any relevance the posted comment had left. This is going to be a looooooong 8 days :(

SpedKnight: I dont know if you got problems or somenthing, acctualy you have but anyway. i have been a huge gran turismo fan i played it from 1 to 4. then i bought my Xbox 360 elite, and i will buy a ps3 cuz of this game (Little big planet, God of war) but anyway i think that xbox 360 beats ps3 everytime. we got so much better games then ps3 we got better markedplace and all that. we got Halo . Gears of war. Tales of vesperia. and 100000000 more. so dont you dare

I haven't played Gran Turismo since the original, which I played all day everyday, but will definitely be getting this on the 2nd!

I wish there was a game with graphics and real cars like this but open world like burnout paradise. That would be the perfect racing game. Although GT5 comes close xD

I started with gt3 and said "thats cool" gt4 came around and I said "how did they do that?" now gt5 is coming around and all I can think about is selling my games, clothes, first born son, anything so I can get the collectors edition.

Really? anyone even attempting to compare Forza to GT5 from now on needs to have their head examined, forza is going the direction of motion control, and is not really making progress in the graphical department, lighting effects etc look garbage and so on,GT5 is a simulator in every sense of the word, Although I have been a massive advocate for the Forza franchise over the last few years due to lack of a GT game being available, I find it very hard to believe that there are gamers on the planet who seriously think they can even compare the two franchises anymore. the only thing they have in common at all is the fact that they both are a driving game, thats all. Forza = wanna be sim, but really a dumbed down driving sim GT5 = The real driving simulator. Not picking on you in particular, just saying, you cannot compare the two, GT pwns all FTW, end of story.

Man, it really does look awsome... I don't play to many racing games but I don't think I could pass this one up. If you have a PS3 it's just one of those titles like MGS, GoW or FF that you have to get.

The more I'm looking into and seeing how this game is coming along, the more I'm seriously considering buying a PS3 and reigniting my old Gran Tuirsmo flame that simmered away when I bought my 360.

I am getting a PS3

The only gameS, note the S, with cars that are destructible I like are Dirt 2, Dirt, and er Dirt 2. Burnout series is not real racing. NFS, including Shift is rubbish now. The old ones were way better. GRID was ok. In Gran Turismo 5, cars will be able to be damaged. With or without this feature, it's a definite buy for me. Creating custom tracks, kart racing, 1000 cars, 30+ game tracks, real tuning, incredible steering wheel support, best graphics out of all racing games, 3D gameplay, Nascar racing, Rally championship and MORE. With all these features, how is it not worth £36.99 ??
