First of all afer five years of waiting Gran Turismo arrived a bit late. After five years of development you would expect it to be 100% perfect. But saddly it isn't. It has some very noticable drawbacks. The most important one for me is the multiplayer. As far as i can notice you earn no money via online races. The online races are with one word useless. I can't think of a reason to play multiplayer except from competing with my friends about our A and B spec Level. During holiday period polyphony released a patch which added seasonal races, which are quite challenging but hard as well. Beacause it's very hard to find some cars which are needed to progress through the game (GT Formula for example), the also adde historic cars showroom which is in fact a showroom with these cars. I don't think that the 800 standard cars are a problem beacause this gap is covered from the magnificence of the 200 premium cars. The thing which in my point is very annoying is the fact that you can't progress through the game if you don't 10 minimum in order to finish the boring endurance races. After the first stunning 25 levels in A spec you will feel that the game ends here for you. All in all i believe that technically GT5 is giant step forword for the gaming planet, but there is a lot of work to be done so that the upcoming series to be as spectacular as they should be.
