I still play this game more often than the NFS and Midnight Club series. Challenging, fun and good-looking. All awesome. :)

Gone back to playing the good old ps2 and loving it! Getting ready for GT5 ;)

Hmm.. I notice some stuttering, hope it's not going to be choppy in PCSX2.

As usual, great review from Brian. Wish he did recent racing games.

I loved this game and it's fair to say that it is the game that i have played the most (ever, including 360,ps3)..... the on ly thing that i did not like was that you needed to earn the license to race at different events.... This actuallt feels more realsitic that forza 3 because of that!!

God I remember playing this game for hours on end back on 2005 cant wait fot GT5 only 4 more months to go.

I could never drift in this game. Only way I could ever do it was driving at 60kph and using handbreak slightly, but damn I was horrible.

I find it odd that he never mentioned the software compatibility of 1080i output for this game... very odd there.

I'm about to give it a test drive. I love these games and I just picked up a copy at gamestop for $4.99. Couldn't pass that up! I think it's going to be better than gt5 prologue.

This game is the only reason i still play my trusty ps2.

This game was an instant classic, I just hated it when I did an awesome drift and some @sshole comes from behind and rams you off the road lol. But I loved this game so much.

when i played this game i always watched the whole opening video with the van halen song HAHA

I love racing games. They always give you many single player hours comparable to RPG's . I remember having Midnight Club 3 and NFS Underground 2 and being amazed at the visuals. But I was rendered speechless after loading this for the first time. It had so many cars that choosing a car in arcade mode took forever. It had tracks that the experienced could play and the simple oval tracks my mom and Granny enjoyed. It is easily on my Top 10 PS2 Games list.

@AEBS save your fanboy crap for somewhere else your statement oozes ignorance. Anyway I do have a 360 now so I really only play forza this game was the one that got me into the GT/Forza style game so yeah a classic for sure.

Actually the Model T has 20HP, the 1 HP cars are the Diamler Motor Carriage and the Benz Patent Motor Wagon from 1886. Awesome game though, can't wait for GT5!

Shadowflame291 5 pts

Pretty awesome game but the learning curve is kinda steep. Hope they bring out GT5 before 2020 XD

raven1998 5 pts

the best game for the ps2 generation. Keep those gran turismo games coming!

_agnyz_ 5 pts
