Gradius V is somewhat short (as always the case with games like this from Konami) but aside from that this game RULES! For the first time ever, you can now play two player simultaneously like you could in Life Force for the NES. As if that wasn't enough, several bosses, levels, songs and much more are covered in this game from Life Force and previous Gradius titles. The graphics are awesome, and the audio is superb! In the PAL version, you can choose between 50/60 hertz. You can also choose numerous versions of Vic Viper which all have different attributes in the weapon department; what's unique about it is that you can control the way your multiples (Options in former Gradius/Life Force titles) will shoot, thus, making the game way more entertaining than usual. Gradius V is also a lot more difficult than any other predecessor; you can't finish this game without "free play." Suffice to say: this is a game you MUST own!
