Assassins Creed 1 was a great game, and offered Prince of Persia style game play, whilst also providing a stealthier approach to killing than just hacking and slashing. It would only be appropriate that the sequel to such a great game should also be great, or possibly even greater, and I can say that Assassins Creed 2 fits the bill! Bringing in another assassin, Ezio Auditore, really added something to the game, as this allowed you to start again with new equipment. Setting the game centuries later than the first meant that better inventions were made, and so could be used to Ezio's advantage, and Ubisoft definitely made use of the time period's inventions, such as gunpowder and even Da Vinci's flying machine. It only made sense to include why Desmond took the role of another assassin by including the continuation of the side story shown in Assassins Creed, and Ubisoft didn't do a bad job at it, making the story exciting as well as believable. In conclusion, the game is definitely well worth every penny it costs, and should find a place on your game shelves all over the world.
