What a disappointing experience. The graphics are wonderful, the good stops there. All quests are essentially the same thing recycled into a different form. 90% of the things you do are to retrieve an item for an NPC. The rewards for completing quests are monotonous and consist of money or health potions, period. The first 10 caves you enter are unique, the next 100 you visit are the same caves with different objects in them. The items found in chests are boring; I have never seen a magical item. After 15 hours of play time I still did not have armor, because you have to be a member of a clan to get good stuff, which costs an exhorbitant amount, but armor cannot be found anywhere else. I got halfway through the game, and realized it was not even worth my time to play through the disgraceful repetition of content. Just play the first Gothic again, it is a better use of your time.
In a word: brilliant. I would highly recommend this to anybody who's a fan of "The Elder Scrolls", especially the older ones such as Daggerfall and especially Morrowind. In my opinion its like playing Morrow... Read Full Review
