So, after seeing the trailer for this game, and watching game play I decided to buy this game. I was thinking the trailer was misleading, but it was not, sadly. For me it was very hard to be to continue playing as I knew what kind of ending was coming about after the first 5 minutes of the game.

Putting my moral views on the side, this game did some very amazing things I wish more games would include. The depth and detail to having objects around the home to find were nothing short of amazing. The house itself was interesting as well. It would have been nice if the game was longer too. I put about maybe 1.5 hours into it (MAYBE), although I'm sure I did not find everything.

The story telling was very convincing, and I felt as if I was part of the families life. I actually came out caring for the characters, even if I didn't feel all warm and fuzzy at the end. The story was very predictable from the get go, and if you watched the trailer, you know the ending. I will continue to look after games from this new company, they are for sure an up and comer.

So, making a simple list--
PROS
-Great and convincing story telling
-emotional attachment to characters
-detailed and interactive environment
-"everyday life" style makes for an interesting game

CONS
-not worth the $20 price tag (for me at least, I'd say more like $10)
-Very liberal story line (I know some people will take this as a "pro")
-Too short, and abrupt ending
-Ending predictable right off the bat
-Potential not pushed to the limit

Gets a 7/10 from me
