Goldeneye 007 breaks its way onto the Nintendo Wii in this new trailer.
Most 007 games have a wonderful soundtrack and hours of gameplay which gets really boring by finishing the game in a single day. This is due to lack of improved or challenging environments.I personally think there should be more content and the reviewers give bad ratings so the people dont buy them. I just wish goldeneye doesnt fall in that catgory of 007 games.
This has the potential to be really good, hopefully people will get out of the mindset that every FPS is rubbish if it doesn't have Call of duty in the title or infinity wards stamp all over it.
I hope this ends up as good as the N64 version!
mehhhhhhhhh............ lucky me i never get rid off my n64 goldeneye :P ........ Brosnan rules!!!!
Graphics doesn't look good, daniel craig isn't the right choice, if they could't use brosnan, why didn't they make a new chrakter. There will be much more better shooters coming out the next time, maybe the first one got a good rating but it didn't like it so much, maybe i should play it when it was coming out but i wasn't interrested in shooters since half-life and so i didn't like the controlls from goldeneye. maybe i check this one when its under a price of 15 or maybe 20 $. It would be nice to se something really new on the wii, but all nintendo is going to do are well known titles, like mario, zelda, metroid and so on.
@Arogance1 .. They couldn't get Pierce Brosnan to be in this .. licensing problems or something.
Daniel Craig wasn't in Goldeneye!!! They could have kept it authentic, even if some younger players will only know him as Bond
That looks awesome!
Btw Daniel Craig is a good actor but he just doesnt look like a bond, i was hoping they would bring back peirce brosnan at least for the game. I think even the books by Ian Flemming had a darkhaired bond. Im personally blonde myself but blonde just doesnt work for bond.
@Sk8rlink they do have online and an online fps with a classic controller is all wii needs to keep it from sucking that bad
Looks like a completely different game compared to the original. Not just the graphics, but a lot of things make it look and feel different.
are they working with the N64 engine, cause this looks horrible, they shouldve made it on Ps3/360, better graphics, controls, and online, sorry Wii, you were made for casuals and the only 15 hardcore gamers on the wii will be getting this, I'll stick to my Goldeneye 64, at leats it has boxy Brosnan
Exclusively sucks for Wii. High Voltage should have mad this game.
Looks a little bit too scripted for my liking. But I'll still have to get it anyways because I've been craving more Eurocom made 007 action since nightfire. (Nightfire > Gloldeneye)
Now where's Pierce Brosnan.
Daniel Craig? WTF?!
Classic Goldeneye + online + added features + the Wii's awesome FPS point and shoot control scheme = me never getting any work done ever again.
So PUMPED!!!!
at last ... a decent FPS for WII
Haven't this looks been excited about a Wii game in awhile this looks promising.
Nintendo apparently walked into Activision with an exceptionally large sack of money. It looks great so far. I'll be putting a reservation down.
I agree Pierce Brosnan seems to fit better since he played Bond in Goldeneye... However, both of the actors were "James Bond" and that is still who you are...
16 Multiplayer modes + Splitscreen AND Online, wins over graphics anyday of the week. Graphics could look exactly the way it does in the video and i'd still pre-order it.
Crapping yourself is just not enough to say about this......
Looks like it's made with the CoD engine... Can't wait!
Wow. Just pooped myself. Looking forward to this one.
better be really good and i hope it improves graphics before it comes out
@linkwiitwilight don't worry, it does; i read a preview, where they said they played it with a classic controller.
This game better have 3 ways to play. Gamecube controller, wii remote + nunchuck and classic controller.
Pierce Brosnan should be there
I also agree that Pierce Brosnan should have been in this game and not Daniel Craig. Even though I like Daniel Craig as bond, this is supposed to be a nostalgic game... why ruin that by changing the main character!? Absurd
I dont like Pierce Brosnan, but this was his movie... So it doesnt make sense putting daniel craigs bond in the game, especially when its a remake of a classic game, would be nice to have both bond versions in MP though :)
I hate Daniel Craig, but this game looks nice. But, will Aztec and Egyptian keep the absurd level of difficulty of the original?
why ruin a classic by changing Pierce Brosnan with Daniel Craig? (looks like him) this has put me off it. (thinks back to when they ruined the last starwars by swapping Anikans)
Although I own the N64 original, I still plan to play this version anyway. :)
THE benchmark for all modern FPS's
Mmmm, Nostalgic N64 tear :( Classic 4-way splitscreen. Looks good remake, but why is Daniel Craig in it? Goldeneye was a Brosnan film.
Oh god, why did I get rid of my Wii V.V
@bschroth I'm sure the online community would be of respectable size. Luckily for me, I don't particularly play anything online too much across any console. As for how it could be just as good as any other shooter online, well, time will tell. As long as the classic controller pro can be used, then that means one or two of my three brothers won't have to be put off by Wii Remote controls.
Goldeneye is one of the greatest games off all time, but this crappy remembrance is just a fable intent of sale some games, Activision( who games generally sucks) is not Rareware.
well thats just great! (high sarcasm used) why not put a hardcore game on a console that caters to hardcore gamers? definitely upset that this is exclusive for the wii
Daniel Craig is THE worst bond -.- at least keep Pierce Brosnon
great game , bad graphics but is cool yet xD
@GameBeaten That would be great if they had pro controller support. But that would bring up the issue of having enough of a community for online play. How many people play Wii games online with any regularity? Not saying it wouldn't be fun, but would it be better than the other online shooters that I've played a ton of in the past or what I'm playing now?
Loved the N64 classic. This is the sort of game I want to play on Wii - something with real action.
I think the crappy graphics give it a authentic feel, can't wait to pick this up for christmas! Finally a good FPS on the wii... I hope
Gameplay-wise it certainly looks like it can deliver a very entertaining experience, but graphically it really is on par with first generation PlayStation 2 games, bland textures and lighting. It seems as though GoldenEye is still in the early stages of development, perhaps they will better utilize the Wii`s capabilities and produce a more visually appealing title.
WAIT! THIS IS GONNA BE AWESOME!!!
@bschroth You might be able to play with the classic controller pro though. I could have sworn I saw it being used during some footage of E3.
