everyone is complaining about Craig as Bond, and I agree Brosnan should have stayed but I think the different Bond is a nice change of pace. I know that if they just ported the game with new graphics and controls then everyone would complain about nothing being "new" so I think we need to come into this game with open minds and enjoy the nostalgia after all there making this solely for the fans (and of course the revenue this will generate)

Even though it seems that they completely messed up ( I use the word "messed" very loosely) the original level design, the game itself looks pretty darn good . . . for a Wii FPS . . . I'll buy it though, only for nostalgic reasons . . .

they always have to end everything the say with "on the wii". You're not competing with wii games! your competing with shooters! if you think that you're trying to be the best wii one, then high voltage kicked you @$$ with the conduit

ok i really like daniel craig and i think he plays a great bond, but goldeneye is bronson's and i think that they shouldve used him.

Eurocom is a pretty good choice to tell the truth. The World is not Enough for N64 is the first followed by Nightfire for PS2, Xbox, GC than for the PS2 Quantum of Solace. While I'll wait for more updates, I hope that Goldeneye for the Wii is taken for what it is. A game that caters to people who think the Wii console is just for families and kids in the casual area. Hardcore gamers will enjoy what this game had to offer.

I liked how in the original goldeneye your bullets stain your victims bodies red. I hope they incorporate blood in this game before it is released. Gunning people down in a game and seeing no blood(like all the boring EA bond games) makes the guns feel like toys and takes away from the magic of the original game. Blood worked in the original so it makes no sense why they took it out of the remake(so it seems from gameplay ive seen so far). And I am not talking about gore and blood everywhere...I am talking about the simple "T rated" blood from goldeneye on the N64. If it were up to me or any fan of the game the M rated bloodstains and blood splatter from perfect dark would be in a goldeneye remake(perfect dark was the goldeneye engine updated). Too bad this remake is not being done by Rare or fans...just money hungry people who wanna make a flashy product that will sell and be forgettable in a month. Goldeneye forever!!!!!!

    @ Perk456

What you should be asking is, where is Sean Connery. Him as Bond in this game would be better than Bronsan or Craig.

The original GoldenEye for Nintendo 64 was revolutionary! I used to love spending weekends at my m8s house playing 4player splitscreen. those were the days.....

aaronfhff123, no developer would just clone each other to death. Also with licensing issues, no one wants to get sued. I know how much you want blood and longer campaign and shooting people obviously only in Goldeneye 007 for the N64, but I wouldn't be paranoid enough to just copy that idea for a quick buck. You're obviously far too quick to judgement that this is going to happen. Also no matter how adamant you are, you're going to end up trying to alienate us from playing this game. That's what I call xenophobic and one note. It's still two months away and I'm not in the mood for one liners anytime soon.

well thats kinda standard practice nowadays aaron, they are just following the usual business model. But ya the old skool goldeneye games multiplayer on -10 health (that was key) was off the chain. My whole crew logged hundreds of hours in the old bond years after it was out. The industry still struggles to compete with the old goldeneyes quality imo.

Eurocom is really stepping up to the plate. The company will have something to prove from gameplay to graphics to the new cast (except for Judi Dench, no offence to her) to the multiplayer. I still need more info for this game but I feel it's a remake done right for 2010 regardless of what anyone thinks.

    WOW
I must say the graphics is preety good for the Wii.
I can't wait to play this game.

There is nothing nice about these graphics. You can't be for real if you are claiming they are nice. Even if you can get past this really bad looking visual design and poor res, this game was fun for alot of us in our early 20's or maybe a bit younger for others. I can't see how this holds the same appeal. It's not like we are hanging out passing controllers anymore. Some games are better remembered. Unless you want to relive your glory goldeneye days with your kids. A nostalgia buy that will end up staying in it's case after a few weeks.

    no thanks
