You've gotta make your own kind of music

Do not let Golden Sun fool you; it is not what you might expect. Upon powering on the game and beholding the cute little sprites and laughably typical beginnings of an – ultimately – surprisingly intriguing save-the-worl... Read Full Review

This 16-bit era throwback is sure to charm RPG fans.

Golden Sun is a JRPG fan's JRPG, that is for sure. Those who are afraid of a few random encounters or a turn based battle system need not apply. Anyone who enjoys (or even just tolerates) said game mechanics is sure to f... Read Full Review

The best RPG out for the GBA of its time, hell it's still a classic now.

Truth be told, I first played this on an illegal ROM when the game was still out in Japan. It was nicely done and translated pretty well. To my disappointment that the story was to be continued. So after completing it an... Read Full Review

One of the best RPGs of all time!

I must say that this game is amazing. I really love a good RPG and game almost beats the Zelda series. To start off, the battle scenes are really fun. It's one of those, I'll take my turn and then you take yours ordeal.... Read Full Review

Not enough people know about this RPG, which is a shame, since it's one of the best on the GBA.

Many people have not really heard about Golden Sun, and weren't really interested in it, thinking of it as "another RPG." Well, it is just another RPG... Another great RPG. There are only 2 GS games right now. This one a... Read Full Review

This still stands today as the only game I've played that I would call perfect, well, besides its sequel.

I believe that this game was the very first RPG I got for the Gameboy Advance back in 2002 I believe, I actually got it on my birthday, :) and man, did this make one heck of an impression. This game is a traditional ... Read Full Review
