Hack and slash was pretty much defined from this game so its a must have for fans of that genre.

Hack and slash was pretty much defined from this game so its a must have for fans of that genre. What that means to the non hardcore gamer is that you chop lots of things up. This game was full of it and gave any other side scrolling beat 'em up more than a run for its money. Sound, like on most Genesis games, was pretty bad, and graphics were great in the day but obviously look terrible today. But it had solid gameplay and great replay value. Check it out if you still like to play Genesis and if you don't, just appreciate what it did to pretty much launch a genre. To be this good takes AGES
