@shadownk , u dumb a** its was the first eva game in gow series , u played the recent ones thats y u r mentioning the design flaw, remember again genius it was the first game in this series no one , i mean i didn't played this kinda a** whoppin game before Kratos ruleee!

the worst of the series. some parts of the game felt more like a platformer than an action game, and the clone battle was just plain stupid. Im not saying this is a bad game, its just the flawed designs don't fit in today's standard

I BUY PLATSTATION 2 ON MAY 26 THIS YEAR AND FIRST GAME WAS TRYING IT WAS GOD OF WAR. I PLAYED AND FINISH GOD OF WAR 3 IN GAMING CAFE AND I CAN SAY GOD OF WAR 3 STORY SUCKS UNTIL THE END AND IT S VERY BAD STORY . THIS GOID OFWAR 1 AND GOD OF 2 ARE STILL THE BEST ON PLAYSTATON 2 AND THIS TWO GAMES WILL PLAYED IN YEARS WILL COME.

I bought my Ps3 somewhere last year in about end of November. Started playing GoW 3 on my normalTV, and a friend told me to stop playing it for 2 reasons. His were: 1. This game looks AWESome. YOu will never truly appreciate the true beauty of it on your crappy TV. 2. You should start this story from the very beginning. You know crap about it, and you should first understand the whole thing. So, got my hands on my GoW collection, decided to buy and play that on my crappy TV, since after all, it is just ps and ps2 (old ass) games, right? Well, by pure luck, I ended up with some family's LG thirty-something-inch HD TV temporarily (unfortunately). So I played GoW 1 on my standard TV. By the time I got my hands on the HD TV, I was about half way through GoW 2, and let me say: F-R-E-A-K-I-N-G A-W-E-S-O-M-E!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I neve would have imgined a ps2 game would have looked so stunningly beautiful as did this game. Incredible!!!!!!! Just the other day, popped in GoW 3, and; OH MYYYYY GOOOSH!!!!!!!!!!! This was such a totally awesome game. I just finished GoW 2, and am more than ready for GoW 3. I truly cannot understand how these games did not get a 9.7 score and GoW 3 a perfect 10. Truly I am baffled by that. GoW collection should be played by ANYONE who has part 3 and has never played the first 2 parts

*huge* flaw. you will likely find with this game are the minigames that involve use of the thumbsticks. For certain enemies, finishers involve rotating a thumbstick in certain directions, in accordance to the icon on the screen. Nice idea, but they implemented this HORRIBLY. I've found that nearly half the time that you actually rotate the thumbstick in the *correct* direction, it marks it as a miss since it is *so* picky about your response, and the enemy throws you off of them and you take damage. *Extremely* annoying.

I played GOW 2 before I played this, I thought, 'the first one can't be as cool and awesome as the second one'. I was wrong, they are both supremely good games in their own way. In fact I even love Chains of Olympus which I think has been the best game to come out on the PSP in terms of game design, I means its such an intricate and complex game for a PSP. Heck I even love that mini mobile game. Havn't got GOW 3 yet, but it will be just as awesome.

there is no story and there is no story telling as strong as this game to date.

@Gamelova08 Yeah it should, except that theres a chance GS won't give it a 10 because of something like "The game ends" or, "I stared at rocks for 12 hours and I found a texture that didn't look good up close, even though no game has perfect close-up texture" or something completely retarded

I thought the puzzles where very clever but there are points where you can miss something but still continue far through the level before having to backtrack to recover what you miss. Can be very frustrating especially if you didn't realise you missed something. Might just be me though...Not had the problem on god of war II so lets hope god of war III is the same

just beat chains of olympus in a day. Twas epic! Hope gow1 is even better!
