For this review im going to try a new style ratin each aspect of the game on a 1 to 10 rating if anyone even watches this stuff.So lets get going.

Story & setting 7/10 The story follows Kratos.A Spartan general with a massive bloodlust that is only quenched by his familys love but when he faces a barbarian army he gives his soul to Ares the god of war.But eventually he tricks Kratos into killing his family and an oracle fuses him with nightmares and a white skin giving him the name The Ghost of Sparta.10 years later he comes back for revenge and to Kill.The God.Of War.Needless to say the story is very original and interesting but lacks enough pollish to be great.

Presentasion 7/10 God of War looks good with a great frame rate but it has prerenderd cutscenes though look good look drasticly chances the tone and the blood effect suck though but character desings are really cool.Voice acting is amazing.With special thanks going to the narrator for the game.

Gameplay 9/10 Gameplay is the best part of the game its fast,smooth and fluid.The bosses are brilliant but not used enough and although there a dosens of combos for a single weapon sometimes it feels like a button masher.But these dont hinder the gameplay too much to bother you.

Re-playability 6/10 Easily the worst part of the game.The only new things are a tacked on NG+,higher difficultys and unlockable outfits but really nothing else.

Final Verdict 8/10 Overall God of War is an awesome hack and slash game worth your time its pretty cheap nowadays so its definnetly worth every penny put into it.
