Again Kratos is angry at the world and chooses to take it out on the Gods of Olympus and the titans. These 2 games has you slashing away at more enemies in a bit to save the world, and your brother.
When first starting the game is becomes crystal clear that it was a port from PSP to PS3. This however is forgotten within the first 5min of playing. The game still features that addictive sense of power over the lives of hordes of enemies, all trying to chop your head off. The games just feel very familiarly from the moment you pick up the controls. All the controls are pretty much the same as any other GOW game, even the upgrade system is exactly the same.
The story lines on both these games are pretty good but not too complex to get you lost midway. You'll always be reminded of what it is that you are out to do, and the story doesn't really deviate from the original story. There's again enough Quick Time events to keep you on your toes.
Each game has a few special weapons and powers that you unlock as you go through the game. The only thing that stays the same is the Chain Swords.
It's a great game if you just feel like sitting around and being a mindless bruit. I love games like these because it just helps me get out of touch with reality and gets me mashing that X button like there is no tomorrow. It's a great collection if you don't have a PSP and you would like to fill in all the blanks between the PS2 and PS3 games.

Ready At Dawn's PSP masterpieces translate wonderfully to the big screen.
