Kratos is back and he is more angry than ever, time for some more over kill god of war fans.
To start, the graphics are untouchable. They are the best visuals I have seen in a game by far, and at times, they are just mesmerizing. It's incredible that so many enemies can be on screen at once or Kratos can fight massive bosses and the PS3 doesn't sputter at all. The battles still look amazing, which in and of itself is amazing. plus the load time is done with in seconds.
The story is in typical Kratos jounrey fashion, with a few twists and turns here and there. Personally, I loved it because I'm a big fan of Greek mythology and I thought Sony Santa Monica did an amazing job coming up with another great story.
The gameplay has not really changed since, which isnt a bad thing since the controls are still top much with the K mans killer blades, a few new weapons here and there and some magic which is still the same but with the same overkill gore we have loved since the first game.
In conclusion, this is a masterpiece of a game that should not be missed by anyone who owns a PS3. And for those that don't...now is the time to buy one so you can experience this game for yourself. and if you havent played the first games go and grab the God Of War collection to top it all off.
9.5 out of 10 for me.
