A great set of puzzles,massive bosses and epic story make this a must get game and a fitting end to the trilogy.
Story
Well it continues where the last game left off Kratos was betrayed by the gods and is out to eliminate them all including Zeus. You basically get an intro as the game starts up.
Gameplay
Well its God of War it is mostly mashing buttons. The gameplay is solid and not to difficult to master but excuting combos will help and destroying anything in your wake is a good idea to do. The enemies change and come in packs. There are some familiar faces from the old games and some new ones as well. Some take different weapons to defeat and some you can ride.
The weapons range from his normal swords to Hades Soul,to whips,Charge Shoes which let him scale walls if there are feet saying its okay to run on. He can fire a bow to hurt enemies charge them and even use them as a battering ram. The Gaunlets are poerful and can elimate Crystal like objects. You even get a tool which helps you see your way through dark areas.
Kratos also has wings now that he can use to glide to other platfroms and sometimes he goes through a tunnel having to avoid hitting objects. All the weapons and tools are very useful in the game. The bosses are massive and rival anything else in the inudstry. I mean they are huge. One boss is so huge you have to run on him and it really makes it feel epic. The button prompts I think are now much better. Also he can grapple on to white light to leap up to other ledges. Also the puzzles are back and they can take a bit of figuring out and its great it does that to give you a rest from slashing all the enemies.
Sound and Graphics
The Sound is epic and feels absouletly awesome. It makes it feel like a battle of the titans. The graphics may I consider them better than Uncharted 2 yes. This game looks so stunning it took full advantager of the PS3 hardware.
Lastabiltiy
About 10 hours its quiet a short game but there are challeneges to play and to be honest I'd play it again.
Overall Opinion
It's a stunning game in its own right nothing has changed much in gameplay but if its not broke don't fix it. It has massive bosses and great puzzles with brilliant items and a story that has a thrilling climax. God of War 3 I think met its expectations and is a thrilling title that any fan should own. It fitting end to the series.
