How do I get past (Helios)?

i get to Helios and defeat all the enemies, then i am blinded by his sun ability and then i die. I do not understand this part in the game

The part when he blinds you you have to move kratos' hand in the way of the bright light so you can step forward and kill him.

If when that part starts it instantly kills you you probably have too low of health or you aren't doing the above. (not sure I've only done that part once so far.)

Move foward with the Left stick and Block the blinding light with the right stick. You have to adjust your hand for ever step you take.
