God of War II Video Review

The fight with the sisters of fate is still one of my favorite moments in gaming ever.

Kratos has some poor anger management skills but that's what we all love about him

The best swan song a system has ever had!

I want to praise the game in addition to how good, really can not say that the game is not a good thing. Maybe is a good place to do this so perfect!

Suberp game. I am actually playing it right now again, but .... Alex Navarro was THE best Gamespot reviewer EVER. I still look back some of his video reviews now and then. Just for old time's sake and a good laugh... Anyone knows where he went?

The God of War series is beyond epic...they can get frustrating at times though but overall excellent action/adventure games!

Just finished the game and it was amazing.

bring back alex navarro. i think we should run a petition.

I bought the collection. Great series. I will buy GoW3 but not right now. The one part I hated the most in this game was the final confrontation with Zeus. It was really dragged out and fighting with the blade of Olympus feels terrible. You get used to the reach and power of the blades and the brute force of the hammer. Then they hand you the blade and I thought, seriously? I just think they could have thought up something better but it's no big deal. At the end of the battle you will find the most annoying quicktime event ever. Extremely fast and always random. If you're not fully accustomed to the ps3 controller your head will explode by the 50th attempt. If you make it that far without using your own rage of the titans on the T.V. that is. I think the real reason Kratos is so angry is all the puzzles and quicktime events of ancient Greece lol. It really is a great series though and the third one is in store for my ps3 for sure.

huge* flaw. you will likely find with this game are the minigames that involve use of the thumbsticks. For certain enemies, finishers involve rotating a thumbstick in certain directions, in accordance to the icon on the screen. Nice idea, but they implemented this HORRIBLY. I've found that nearly half the time that you actually rotate the thumbstick in the *correct* direction, it marks it as a miss since it is *so* picky about your response, and the enemy throws you off of them and you take damage. *Extremely* annoying.

I remember how amazed I was to see this three years ago. Now i'm excited in the exact same way for GoW3

DanteMDIE - (great name, great character, great games!) personally I dont like puzzles either!!!! But GOW has loads of amazing combat, a bit of platforming and an amzing story too!!!! I just looked at the guide to solve the puzzles thats how much I hate them, but I would give GOW a 10 anyway just cos its so amazing. I completed it.

Everytime this guy does a review, I feel like all games suck. It sounds lke he hates games just as much as I do after hearing his Dynasy Warriors 4 review. And the spoilers just flow from him like the sarcasm and loathing I always see from him. Gamespot. Please talk to this guy about his negativity!

I hate puzzles who makes me think... I know most people like it, but i would still prefer a game with hack & slash along with a good story. If you don't like thinking you can still look for puzzle solving on ytube, but if you don't like doind that, pick dmc...
