God of War II is a great game that surepasses it's prodecessor and it is another instant classic that you must play.
After finishing GOW 1 I noticed the improvements in my second playthrough(in PS3) a lot more than before and this is my second playthrough review.Anyway I have to say even though I played the game before but still the story is epic and exciting and the cliffhanger ending is nice but a bit unsatisfying .Just like GOW 1 the production values are great.Brilliant soundtrack and good voice acting make the game even more epic.At 2007 GOW 2 was one of the best looking games and now it still looks great and even better with the HD upgrade and the scale of most of the scenes still looks super jaw dropping!! but sometimes it doesn't look as great as before and it looks old .The gameplay has a lot of improvements.Puzzles are impressive and ingenious as ever and there are some extremely difficult puzzles that aren't impossible but they take time to to be solved.Brutal action of GOW 1 is back and now with tons of new tricks and moves and weapons (though non of the new weapons are as useful and as exciting as the blades but still ther are a nice addition! ) it is compelling and more violent than ever before.Boss fights are fantastic and a lot better than GOW 1.From mind blowing Rhodes fight at the beginning of the game to Kraken at the near end there are a lot of great boss fights in the game.GOW 2 is another excellent classic that should not be missed.
