All that I expected and more

Well like many others I was a huge fan of God of War and was eagerly awaiting the sequel and am glad to say I am not disappointed. God of War II has everything that I'd ever want in a sequel to the first game. Many and I do mean MANY more bosses which await you at every turn all with their own unique look and fight styles. Fantastic graphics that have been previously mentioned and have to be seen to be appreciated, althought if playing on an HDTV make sure you get yourself a set of component cables to truly appreciate them. The same great music that really set the tone for the first game and loads of enemies, weapons and spells to balance out a terrifically paced game.
There are also several puzzles throughout the game (maybe too many?) that can certainly challenge even the seasoned game veteran for hours on end, even to the point of sheer frustration. The challenge is definetly ramped up in the sequel as some areas will no doubt having you spewing more obcenities than Madonna on Letterman.
Overall I think I did in fact like this game better than the first for the fighting, but maybe a little less for the puzzles and difficulty. Last thoughts though this is one of the best games on PS2 and easily better than most next-gen games I have played to date. Now let's bring on God of War 3 on the PS3
