God of War II is possibly the best game in its genre and easily one of the best games ever created.
GRAPHICS: Let's just say it's stunning. Perhaps the best looking PS2 game. Everything looks amazing, from the characters, enemies, bosses, environments, water, animations, lightning. You really can't find something ugly in this game. It's just that good.

STORY: Again, it's amazing. Excellent plot. Great storytelling. Maybe not as good as GoW1 in terms of narrative but still the same quality. True that Kratos does feel a lot angrier and badass this time but that's what we want. His personality fits the story perfectly. Outstanding story cutscenes.

GAMEPLAY: Even better than in the original game. Tweaked to the perfection with awesome new weapons and powers. I think the gameplay is what distinguishes GoW from the rest of games in this genre. What I didn't like in GoW1 were the hard puzzles. Sometimes they were frustrating and annoying but in GoW2 the puzzles are much more reasonable and easier to the point when you can solve them without watching walkthroughs. Not saying they're easy, just normal and that's positive. Plus the blade of olympus is a blast.

SOUND: For me, this is where no game comes close to GoW2. It's truly almost impossible to describe it.... I think the word epic really fits here. You really need to play it just to hear the best music in a videogame. Audio is in a league of it's own. Voice acting is masterfully done. No complaints here.

REPLAYABILITY: Huge. You'll be coming back for more cause it's so damn addicting. After it's over, don't worry, i can almost guarantee you that you'll play it few times more. In addition, there's the challenge of the titans, new mode, bonus play with the blade of olympus in it and much more..

OVERALL: Every aspect of this game is amazing. Almost nothing to complain about. Epic audio-visual presentation, immersive story, strong gameplay, 100% fun-- what's there not to like? This game deserves to be in the list of top 5 games of all time, if not top 3. Can't recommend it more.
