The God of War series is by far one of the best franchises to ever bless the Playstation 2 with its presence. Although the era of the Playstation 2 is nearly behind us, SCEA did all users of the once current gen console a huge favor by not bringing the game to the next (now current) generation of consoles...yet. God of War 2 provides the same gameplay experience as the prequel, yet delves into the story of Kratos a little deeper and somehow manages to keep things refreshing. This review will not go into detail of what actually occurs within the plotline of the game because everyone should really go and play for themselves. If you happen to be one of the 0.5% of playstation 2 owners who have not played the prequel either, pick that one up as well because the series is that good!!! The game is so addictive as it keeps you engaged on so many levels and leaves you to believe that this can and will only get better when it reaches the Xbox 360 and PS3 consoles.
