A great collection and it can surve as an intro into the God of War universe.

God of War collection is a compilation of the first two God of war games that were originally on the PS2 but were ported over to the PS3. Players who have never played a God of War game and maybe somewhat sceptical of the first 2 games can put their worries to rest. This is a brutal game with beheadings and NPC's getting killed in various ways. The story of the God of war features a very angry character called Kratos going after the gods that have wronged him. Graphically both games look the same as they were on the PS2 but players may be surprised by what the developers accomplished with PS2 when the PS3 was out back in 2007. The gameplay of both games is solid and really fun with players wielding whip like chain blades to kill anyone that stands in their way and along the way players will get magic spells and even an extra weapon or two. One of the great things about this game is that it is available with a controller in an Ultimate Combo pack from Sony that players may have seen at their local retailers. Players can also purchase the game separately if they already have enough controllers or don't need any more. Overall this is a great game that sucks you in till the end.
