2 of the finest PS2 games updated and in one and in HD.

User Rating: 9.5 | God of War Collection (Ultimate Combo Pack) PS3
God of War came out late in the PS2 lifespan so many will have missed it. So it was a good idea worth bringing them out in the run up to God of War 3.

Both games have an impressive story the first one where Kratos has to kill the God Ares with Pandoras Box and in the second where the Gods have betrayed him.

The game maintains the excellent balance of the PS2 titles with its excellent puzzles stunning weapons, epic cut scenes and brilliant enviroments but in full HD and it doesn't look half bad. Not for one second does it look dated and it actually feels a joy to play.

The game is a button masher most of the time but does allow devasting combos and the ability to upgrade certain weapons. The games as one last about 10 hours but you can play them on harder difficulties or get trophies you missed.

You have to collect Gorgon Eyes and Phoneix Feathers to upgrade Health and magic. Some puzzles require speed and a bit of thinking but some can leave you having to restart.

So both about 10 hours each in full HD plus it has a bit of bonus material as well. Is it worth getting. Yes definetly to go alongside God of War 3 you have the ultimate God of War trilogy on one console.
