God of War: Chains of Olympus User Review
Even if it is in a smaller console, doesn't mean it's low on the grade!

- Difficulty:
- Just Right
- Time Spent:
- 20 to 40 Hours
- The Bottom Line:
- "Surprisingly good"
This is a game you will enjoy taking the time to play, whether it be small foes to huge behemoth bosses, and wherever you're playing as well (bus stops, classroom, office, party, bathroom, whatever) you will enjoy swinging the blades of Kratos! There are multiple objectives to complete, not just the story. From unlocking hidden content to gaining experience for Kratos magic power and health, you have a lot to do even after beating the game. I still play it even after defeating every difficulty level and gaining a lot of extra content. I do not wish to ruin the game for those who haven't purchased it, but be sure that Kratos' blades are not the only way to drench blood.
Comparing this game specifically with other ones in the series is somewhat biased in my opinion. Both platforms PS2 and PS3 have higher capabilities in producing high definition graphic, sounds, and length of game. But I will say in a scale of the games, Chains of Olympus was superior slightly than God of War 1 and maybe God of War 2, but nowhere near God of War 3.

It doesn't have the brilliance of the console games but it is still a top game and one any PSP owner should have.

Though it doesn't stand up to its console brethren, Chains of Olympus does a great job of bringing Kratos to the PSP.
