kratos has far less personality compared to DMC's fully fleshed out new Dante. GoW has great big epic mythology stories in every single one which are nice and usually pretty compelling. Combat is solid in both but far more complicated and with less repetition in DMC.
I'd say they will be of equal quality.. I honestly just expect more of GoW3 plus the new MP. The new GoW MP is pretty fun buy your mileage will vary depending on your personal preferences.
GoW typically has a fixed camera which means it never has camera issues in combat. As a person who has finished DMC, you are familiar with some of the camera issues in DMC. DMC uses a much closer view to the action.
Anyways, I would never pass up a GoW game and I would never pass up a DMC game. The GoW MP is some seriously nice icing on the cake this time. I thought it would be a complete throwaway mode but it is really pretty solid. Balancing issues are coming up in beta so I hope they resolve those for the release.

The difference. Kratos doesn’t TRY to have personality. He wants pure, mindless revenge and nothing else. Dante pretends to be some outgoing crazy feller who is the life of party and comes off as a dork. This “new fully fleshed” Dante is just as shallow as the old one.

Having completed DmC this past weekend, I can agree with you that it is a great game and that Dante is a truly badass character.Whether or not this game will be better than DmC is pretty hard to tell since we actually have to play the full game in order to make an accurate judgement.
IMO this game will be decent (and most likely great fun) like all the other GoW games in this series, and will be on par with the standard DmC has set.
