IDK, the verdict leans more towards the buy. Hopefully it'll be long enough to keep my attention for a while.

Really looking forward to this. How can people complain about the video containing spoilers? How do you know this isn't all from the first 30 minutes of the game?

The gameplay has promise. They seem to be using alot of ideas established by Ghosthunter and alot of stuff from the original movies. However it seemed to mostly be at the beginning so Im hoping they bring some new stuff to the table. I have to say, though, im disappointed in the nameless mute protagonist. Even if the way its presented is clever, it doesnt fit to me and I suspect it wont make sense as the game progresses and your no longer feeling you should be considered "the nameless newb." Despite that, I still have to play it. Being a fan I cant help but want to play it. It looks like it will be fun if for nothing more then nostalgia sake.

I pretty sure that this game will please fans of the movies, but from what I've seen I don't think there's enough "NEW" to create fans out of anyone who isn't already! It will be interesting to see how big the GBs fan base is now 25 years later!!!

I would have loved this game so much as a kid. Im not so sure now. Looks good and fun though... and despise listening to "BO of CP3 ooooooooooo" every frickin time i want to watch a video

Why show this much, I mean you could of warned people you where gonna spoil most of the game. Just coz your lucky enuff to play the game dont mean you should ruin others peoples experience. I was so looking forward to this. I do appreciate the movie though dont get me wrong but you should of warned people like you usually do. Shame !

The game looks great. This is the first time I'm glad a game release got delayed six months! :) I am a little concerned over how long the game combat will hold interest, but after looking at this and the other new gameplay videos, I don't think interest will be a problem. The battles look very chaotic and challenging. Hopefully this will add up to a really fun game that lives up to expectations. (After all, they have over 20 years of fans breathing down their necks:))

Geez Gamespot, don't make it too obvious your reviewers read off of cards! That aside, this game looks pretty cool, the cutscenes with all the old cast alone makes it worth a look to me.

Oh, and hanging off the side of the building like that to fight Stay Puft? How cool was that? :D

LOL, Oh man.... This is looking even better that I thought it was gonna be. Loved that line Bill Murray said in the hotel. "You guys go ahead, I know how this one ends" Always loved the PKE meter as well, I just REALLY hope there are some driving sequences where you get to use the Ecto 1. I'm also really glad to see they found some other weapon uses for the proton energy besides just the regular stream. Looks like some great ideas being used there, (Even though they are just energy varients of real world weapons.) I'm sure there are even more cool weapons later on in the game as well. *crosses fingers* The comment the previewer made about how long just shooting and trapping ghosts could hold interest was the only concern I had as well, But I think Ramis and Akroyd have some suprises coming in the game no one would expect. I have a feeling the first quarter, maybe first half of the game was written to tie up loose ends that the guys may have not been happy with, or felt were left uncompleted from the movies. But I am thinking/hoping that after most of those memorable moments during the first half will lead into some really new and creative ghosts/monsters that will just add to the Ghostbusters world as a whole. And maybe lead into a actual 3rd movie? (That would be kinda cool, a game that leads into a movie sequel? Don't know if that has ever been done befroe either, But you know right off the bat you will practically have the very same writing team. Well, the 2 most important guys that matter anyways.......
