Something I've always dreamed about, just came true.

User Rating: 10 | Ghostbusters: The Video Game PS3
Okay, first off, I'm gonna get this out of the way. I'm a big Ghostbusters fan ever since I saw the film at age five or six. I've always dreamt of busting ghosts with Venkman, Ray, Egon and Winston. 11 years later, when news of this came out, I was happy to hear it.

But, at the same time, I was hoping and praying the developers and publishers wouldn't screw it up in the process. I hoped right.

Now, onto the game.

Graphics: 10/10

The graphics on the PS3 for this thing are awesome, especially the cinematics in the game. Talk about pristene-like visuals.

Controls: 10/10

The game mechanics aren't that hard either, which is really good because this means the controls are easy to manuever with and if your in the heat of battle with a ghost, you don't have to try and pull off this convoluted scheme with the controls.

Sound: 9/10

The sounds of the Protron pack are sound on, and the new add-ons you get sound exactly as you think they would. Most of the original score from the movie(s) are here, even with unused scores or extenions of original scores, which are interesting to hear really. The voice overs are fantastic from most of the original cast, especially the Ghostbusters. The reason sound gets a nine is because they didn't have the whole song of the 1984 theme song.

Story: 10/10

The original story-line carrying the game is set in 1991, with a background built around an old foe from the first movie, and adding a new female character to replace Sigorney Weaver's character. It does very good justice to the game and actually feels real.

Overall score out of 100: 95/100.

The only reason it got a ninty-five, again, is because they didn't have the enitre original Ghostbusters theme from the 1984 film, which I really like.

Other than that, the game is excellent and it should be picked up and played thoroughly and good, especially for the archival items and trophies.

Have fun playing Ghostbusters: The Videogame!
