Wow! What can one possibly say about this game? Oh yeah, not so good!

User Rating: 6.5 | Ghostbusters II NES
This game tries to follow the the path of the movie, but comes up short in the entertaining department. For starters you don't get to use the proton packs, and instead you get the slime packs that shoot little cluster of green crap at objects. You will spend half the game on foot and the other half riding in good ole Ecto 1 jumping pot holes the size of the Grand Canyon.
Once on foot you jump over random stuff that comes at you, occassionally throwing down a containment trap to catch the little ghosts that fly by. Your slime pack doesn't really do much to stop anything, so get ready to throw lots of traps to even survive.
So after you alternate between driving and foot patrol you finally get to ride in the Statue of Liberty and shoot lots and lots of ghosts. It is mildly entertaining, and once you reach the museum it gets harder and less fun. Now you have to get all the Ghost busters through the museum and to the painting of Vigo. Hope you saved up a lot of lives cause it sucks to get to the end and get nailed in the last level.
Once you get all the guys in front of the painting you get rid of Vigo and win, and the whole process usually takes around 20 minutes or faster.
This is an average game at best but still far better than the god awful Back to the Future.
Play it through once, and get rid of it cause the fun is far and few between.
