Being 5 Dollars, and one of the best Xbox 360 games out to date, there is no way to go wrong with this game.

It's almost impossible to persuade you to buy Geometry Wars on paper...or pixel I should say. But being $5.00 WHOLE DOLLARS, I can't see how anyone would not buy this game! So you are this little space craft, controlling it with the left analog stick. You have a gun with you shoot with your right analog stick, by pointing at a near buy enemy. So you are put up against a horde of the "geometrical" enemies, such as squares, pentagons, diamonds, and other miscellaneous enemies. For the first time playing, I guarantee, you wont get past 10,000 and saythe game is trash and is boring. Well one key to this game is patience. If you take time to get good at it, you find a hidden masterpiece. So for an experienced player, the first 30,000 will be a breeze. But after that, enemies spawn around you, multiple times at that, trying to take you out. That is when the franticness (is that a word?) begins. Your flying, trying to evade these enemies, while also trying to destroy them. This is what makes the game so addicting and fun, the franticness. The achievements are mighty hard for beginners. Such achievements being score 1,000,000 and even get that without dying. The achievments are also another thing that will keep you playing for more. Some others would be collect 9-lives, collect 9-bombs, and survive the first 60 seconds without dying. Some down points...when you get a high score, such as 200,000 and die, you obviously have to start over. So then while your all pumped up, ready for frantic mayhem, you find yourself just killing 1 or 2 shapes at a time, which may get a little dull and make you want to switch to something else. Another down point would just be that it is a very frustrating game. As I mentioned, the game takes patience. So in a nutshell, how do you go wrong with $5.00 measly dollars? If you have an Xbox 360, and a Brain, buy Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved
