Even if I download the free costumes, I still won't play this terrible game.

Wow. I've never not played a game to the end of it before declaring my verdict, but when I played Genji I just had to stop after I got to the Netherworld!
"Genji: Days of the Blade" tells the story of Genkuro, a warrior prince who is tasked with defeating the remaining Hiteshi Clan after they attacked his village. Genkuro, a long with his friends Benkei, Shizuka and Lord Buson set forth on a journey that will undoubtedly bore you to tears. Thank you English voice actors.
Game play is simple. Fight your way to the end. Use the left analogue stick to move, the X button to jump, the SQUARE button to do a light attack, the TRIANGLE button to do a heavy attack, L1 and R1 to block in a fighting stance, R2 alongside the left analogue stick or the right analogue stick or the Six-Axis motion control to dodge. Yes three different controls for one function... that makes sense! Use L2 to enter Amahagne. You can also select a different character by pressing the UP, DOWN, LEFT or RIGHT buttons depending on the character you wish to select. Press the CIRCLE button to interact.
These controls worked well BUT with the fighting being slow-paced it feels like it doesn't. When you select a character the processing speed was quite slow and also when you wanted to use the character you swapped for the one you originally swapped with you had to wait for example I'm using Shizuka and I swap to Genkuro, I can't swap back to Shizuka immediately.
One noticeable downside to this game is the poor camera, it's awful. It actually hinders your progress instead of help it. Example: when you're fighting enemies you can't see who is behind you. Another example is when an object looks reachable but due to the camera actually is not. The camera can prove most disadvantageous in areas where you're required to jump from platform to platform.
Another downside is the map. It is terrible. It doesn't give me a good sense of where I'm supposed to head to next. I rely mostly on the fact that there is a clear pathway. The only thing it is good for is telling me where my enemies are... because the camera sure can't show me!
Another problem is that if you die you have to start from your last save. Save points are not positioned in clever places like before a boss battle. Ironically if you die in the boss fight you merely reset it, which makes no sense because there are no apparent checkpoints.
Another problem (yes that's 8 problems) is the loading time. They take long.
Another problem (9 problems) is that annoying "Game Over" screen. The developers decide to display a fancy, unskipable way of telling you "HA HA! YOU DIED!"
A plus side to this game was the fighting. Enemies are challenging and fun to throwdown. Weapons increase interest; the more you have the more fun it will be beating your opponent. Another plus is that characters have weapons and a fighting style which is unique to them, like Shizuka has a fan-blade which attacks enemies from a-far whereas Benkei has that heavy warrior club.
And now we return to the Problem show:
Problem No. 10: Fighting is the only thing that makes the game, at least, bearable. Not annoying platform sections that are ruined thanks to the poor camera.
Final Problem No. 11: The extras are not worth buying... They are not and neither is this game.
