Gears of War Video Review (Xbox 360)

This review seems improvised, like he was saying this as it was coming to his head.

Should i sell Gears of war 2 for Gow 1? Im getting really bored of it.

I couldnt even finish the review. This guy BLOWS at making review videos. Congrats, you have just annoyed me out of a review.

Anyomne have the pc version of this? I heard there's a segment not found in the 360 version, where you get to fight a Brumak. Do people still play the pc version online?

Completed this wow that last boss was hard, this game is 5 years old but still looks good I can see why it got such a good review.

Still to this day, remains one of my favorite game's and is the only game I went through twice cause I enjoyed it so much.

(Very) late to the party on this but in my opinion this game actually sucks balls. On act 4 and cannot wait for it to finish so I can play something better. Dull visuals and repetitive gameplay do not make for an engaging experience. Won't be bothering with the sequels. Just my opinion, others are available.

These games, this one especially, are terrific. Finished GOW 3 last night, now I'm playing through from the beginning of the series with my stepson.

I hated jeff's review. It's supposed to give us an insight about the gameplay, the story and side notes... not spoil the beginning ofthe game, give the overall plot and tell which guns to use during the first half of the game... Even with the horrible review I could see this game looks amazing :D

this game sucks in my opin... did he say just shooters are only as good as there guns? i think he did...

@Lykanthropie I think you're not accustomed to games like this that's why you're not able to play them. for me this game it's not as bad as you said, games can´t be compared all them have different things for different likes

i played this and its just one of the worst shooters i played. 9,6 isn't just overrated, guess someone paid for it and if not the guy who reviewed it never played a good game. compared with other games, its score should be around 5.0 or 6.0. the same with halo. Good games should get a good rating and crap like this not, but somehow a lot of good games are underrated. But when i get something nice or some cash i might give it a beter score too.

4 years later and i agree with Geff, chainsaw never gets old...

@mustangoos Try lowering the difficulty and being patient. The presentation of the game often makes you think that you can just run towards the enemy guns blazing, but you really can't. You need to be patient behind cover sometimes and wait for opportunities to develop.

the game is overrated. I have to admit that i havent finished it (well I havent done even a quarter). and this guy really doesnt know how to do a review. I GIVE IT A 7 OR 7.5

The only problem with this game is General RAAM, that battle makes no sense within the context of the rest of the game. Its more like a boss battle in a comic book game.

this is my favorite shooter on the modern consoles, and my favorite game available for download on demand. i don't know what i like more about this review, when jeff does the chainsaw noise, or when he mimics the action of cover shooting. haha.

man i play this and gears 2 all the time i just cant wait for 3

in a way i miss him but then again without him we wouldn't have giantbomb.
