this is basically the xbox version of gears of war only better, the graphics are better' the single player campaign is longer', there is more multiplayer maps and there is an extra multiplayer mode. It is a games for windows live game which some people hate however I like that. You can play the campaign co op with a friend. It really is an amazing game although the online competition is very minimal. If you pay 20 or less I would say it is worth it ull get an amazing campaign but dnt expect much online play. Keyboard and mouse controls are harder than the controller in this instance. I got it off gamesforwindows website for 20 bucks, def worth it especially if you play on expert difficulty. I wish the online play was more popular on the pc but I think the game had lag issues in the beginning , but if you can manage to get a game of 3v3 or 4v4 expect some fun as long as the host has a good connection. I'm hoping for a gears of war 3 pc release in yr or two but I doubt it..
