If you are only going to buy one game, buy gears of war
Anyways, personally i find it to be futile to write a review amongst thousands of player reviews all stating the same..(you kind of get the idea)because i or anyone else don`t really need to point out the plus and minuses about this game, because there is no need...i could sum everything up by saying : ``AWESOME!!!`` But i would like to voice an opinion, if anyone hasen`t already
Gamespot writes in their review that the story could be more fleshed out..cool enough, but when i completed the game, it didnt actually hide or shrowd in mystery that a sequel is planned, and ``indirectly(?!)`` revealing that more of the story will unfold in future games. You are just thrown into the action, and kind of just blast your way onward, picking up whatever info you get about the story and missions. It could perhaps have given an introduction, to set the mood, story and setting, but anyways it didn`t, so it would be kind of stupid if the dudes would explain stuff to each other, info thats apparently well known to all. When latter games come, a "before story" game.. you know, like resident evil 0, is probably already in the making

The pure visual experience of this game is totally amazing. This is (without having much knowledge about art) a work of art. You could take every horizon and image of the game and make a separate picture to sell in a frame. The detail and visual beauty in the game is beyond compare
The gameplay can actually be boiled down to three words repeating : aim, shoot, aim, shoot, aim, shoot, aim, shoot, saw, saw, aim , shoot, saw.....
which by the way never gets old, believe me
The only minus i can say is that, you could finish the game fairly quick compared to a lot of other games, but thats just the story line campaign, you can continue to play the game online, and prove your aiming and sawing skills
