Gears of War is a third person shooter with great graphics, gameplay, and sound. The player you control is Marcus Fenix, a roughneck soldier who is fighting a losing battle against the Locust. This game has everything going for it, and is a very solid game all around, with the exception of one crucial thing, a story. The game starts out with Marcus being broken out from prison, and thrown into battle against this unknown enemy known as the Locust. We never find out why marcus was in prison, who the locust are or where they're from and a variety of other questions. If you don't mind the lack of story...this is still a very good game. There's at least 6 hours of Gameplay, with lots of room for replay. Plus co-op missions, multiplayer gametypes and online play. All things combined Gears of War is an excellent choice for anyone with a 360 looking for a good game.
