State of the art graphics
Yes this game has beautiful graphics, with blood and carnage galore, and an awesome chainsaw on the bottom of the machine gun, but that is all flash. My issues with this game are that you can rev your chainsaw up, and it sucks people in from pretty far away, the guns are inconsistent, the online mode is fun, but the host has an obvious advantage, and my biggest problem is that the controls just felt clunky. You can't really turn while running and the blur effect is more distracting than pretty. You can be 10 feet from a wall and hit the cover button and you are magically sucked up against the wall. I had some fun playing online, but only because upon it's release, there wasn't much else to play. The single player story also left a lot to be desired, I shouldn't have to fill in the blanks with novels. With every update Epic makes, the game becomes more broken. Everyone complains about this while playing, but nobody wants to really admit the issues with the game itself. So overall, I wasn't impressed by the game because of all the blood, and the chainsaw like a lot of people and I found the game to be a below average shooter. There are way better shooters out there, and I would prefer to play them. I think this game just came out during a drought for the 360 so people ate it up. But this is just my opinion.
