E3 2010 Stage Demo: Gears of War 3 (Xbox 360)

I remember seeing this last year. Wow. I wonder if anything more will get announced this year. Maybe another new game from Epic. That would be great.

I hope Microsoft Game Studios has something up their sleeve once Gears 3 comes out cuz after that there could end up being an exclusive shortage for Xbox 360!

@Beepyou: No Gears is third party from Epic games, they also made titles like UT3, and are doing Bulletstorm both hitting the PS3 this year, also UT3 is on the PC, as well as UT99 was on the PS2.

It don't matter how good it looks, after 6 years if they haven't fixed bullet lag. Gears should just give up and cliff should retire...

I know I'm going to sound like an MS fanboy but Sony needs to get some games that compete with the likes of Halo, and Gears. Third party exclusives like this are way Xbox360 sells so much, we got the DLC side back, and the developers are getting the PS3 power into their games finally. Now would be a great time for Sony to launch some hardcore non PS move 60FPS class with Cell AA, and shaders to bring it up to snuff and most importantly new gameplay ideas.

Gears of War 3 has the color back. Now the whiners can shut up about how UE3 looks bland and boring. This new version has the tech that gamers wanted. IE color, and grass, and hes right the lighting is ten times better then it ever was. In fact it looks like a lower rez Crysis. Which is a good thing IMHO.

I love the attention to detail they appear to be putting into this: mantle kick, chainsaw kick, throwing meat shields with a grenade. But the subtle details are even better. The addition of female soldiers and open environments gives a hint at how grim the situation is. Everyone has to fight to survive, social structure is losing its meaning and why not venture out into the open when you're in as much danger anywhere else. The mutating lambent seem like an excellent solution to one of Gears 2's biggest problems - enemy dynamics. Hopefully we'll never have to go through an area like Landdown's tunnel where anything could be there, but only tickers actually are there. That said, I hope there are more Corpsers.

COPY AND PASTE THIS TO EVERY VIDEO The game that is going to kill all games coming in fall 2012 is the Modern Warfare Bake Me a Cake game for the Wii. That game is going to be hot. I heard when you reach level 30 you unlock this perk call the Martha Stewart baking sheet that decreases ur baking time by 15 minutes. CANT WAIT MAN

Also, I see a new shotgun and a new assault rifle but is there a new pistol, like more modern day lookin w/ slight mods but bigger and could there be dual wielding of the pistols? I think it would be a great addition to the 3rd installment.

It looks beautiful, but DMan_Fresh85 is right, why did they remove the definition from the cog's arms?

It seems as if the movement is a bit faster which is good, also I noticed that the character models r not as the last installments with the ripped muscle definition which u should've kept cause Cole looks too small and no one really looks like they've been through that much like they did in the last games. Jus looks too clean n my opinion. But I can't wait for it still cause GOW is the best shooter of all!

Why in the heck are they putting female GEARS into this game? If there was ever a game franchise that could be described as manly, this would be it.. the only reason it was plausible in these games for the main characters to be carrying around 50lb weapons and armor that looks like it was cut out of an old tank, was because all the characters were dudes that were so ripped that they could make a rhino tuck its tale and run... girls have a lot of strengths but brute force isn't one of them... feminism, leave my manly games alone!

Very awesome, looks great and I love the classic bayonette aswell as sticking grenades on locusts and kicking them away. April 2011 seems so far away.

i promised myself i wouldn't get gears 3 unless they did something really really cool. That new horde mode, 4 player co-op, usable vehicles (at least they mentioned them like they were usable) that's enough for me to get it. hope it isn't as much of a disappointment as gears 2

haha looks like a great game, but i have a hard time imagining anya being able to trade punches with a locust. haha even if it has been a year. and that scene at 9:27 in which the berserker smashed that mech was sweet xD

In November 2001 I got the X-box and Halo my favorite game of all time.But in November of 2006 I got the X-box 360 and Gears of War...I loved it!!!!!!!!then I got Gears of War 2 ...best game on the X-box 360 Yet.Now Gears of War 3...Cliff Bleszinski rules,I love the X-box 360 and live rules.Go Gears of War 3!!!!

@grvdggr272 I completely agree I liked seeing trees and not so much rundown crap. I hope some of the multiplayer levels will be colorful and technologically advanced looking like maybe inside that base. XD ?

gears doesnt look different in graphics but it looks a little better looks cool some better weapons and some other new monsters looks good im excited for this game hope its fun!
