Comic-Con 2010 Panel Highlights: Gears of War 3 (Xbox 360)

@vasquez112 and nv16snake Dizzy actually survived guys! The gears of war books fill in some spaces in the games that people wonder about. This is one of those spaces that gets filled in. Tai saves Dizzy from Scourge and then they meet up with Dizzy (and his two daughters) after the COG evacuation of Jacinto. Read the Jacinto's Remnant book to find out the specifics.

@nv16snake He died if you played the game you would know that when marcus and dom were in that thing that takes them underground, scorge chainsawed dizzy.

Thought just popped in the brain: Anyone remember "Saving Private Ryan?" Ryan had like 2 or 3 other brothers that all got killed, but the last one survived and was rescued? Do you think they will do the same for Carmine?

Gears 3 is going to be awesome!

Holy crap my videos won't play either, and it's GEARS! Well yet again Gamespot has shown how unreliable their service can be, when millions of people depend on them.

It does seem that Epic is putting some effort into narrative which is nice to see as Gears 2 attempted and failed in that sense IMO. Also, 4-player co-op FTW! :D

Serious comment: Hm... less 2012 probably means the movie won't focus on E-day and the way District 9 was filmed could work well for a gears movie. Might mean the movie will be done as a retelling of events, switching between the main character at the time of the events and those retelling it. Silly me: But there had better be some grubs (and people) getting chainsawed, grenade tagged and shot in the head (making that awesome squishy sound as the head explodes into red mist). And a little hammer, we can't have gears on the big screen without dropping the hammer on something!
