The end of the war, finally, for better or for worse. War is not all glory and GEARS OF WAR 3 explicitly demonstrates that more than the first two acts of the trilogy.
Sad and moving goes the story of humanity's three-front battle for survival. Big changes are in store for the characters we have come to know and for the world we, as players, have come to immerse ourselves and fight in. This game is fun - there is no denying that - even though all that transpires is madness and sadness and more than ever a deep feeling of desperation. There are more bangs in it for your buck also.
As all good things must come to an end (and it's been worth the wait), this final act is a fitting conclusion to a modern classic action series.
Pros: More exciting action, more explosive surprises and… the Mad World theme at last!
Cons: The end of something special.

Gears of War 3 is a satisfactory end to one of the generation's finest third person shooter sagas.
