The Gears of war franchise has brought strategic, cover-based gameplay into the forefront of third person shooters. From blood-drenched melee attacks to boomshot blowouts, Gears of war has firmly placed itself in contention for the best all time shooters. The final installation doesn't fall sort as the immersive and exhilarating campaign teamed with improved multiplayer action and a broadened horde/beastmode makes this game one of the best of its kind.
With the campaign being the outstanding success of the final part of the Gears of war trilogy, the accompanying versus and horde modes have turned this into game one of the best third-person shooters ever to reach our screens. With unparalleled storytelling and the gripping emotional attachments, ending this campaign will be bittersweet yet memorable. As probably the best in the trilogy, it is relentless in transfixing the player and making you a part of the franchise.
